What Event Router adds
A character can appear on screen without receiving audience input. Event Router provides a connection layer to examine when you want supported comments and events to reach the GenAIDOL live workflow. It works alongside the character application rather than replacing it.
In a typical setup, a platform produces an event, the connection delivers it, and the configured AI workflow decides what response to produce. An operator should be able to verify each stage.
Check supported event types
Current GenAIDOL descriptions identify a broader range of TikTok events, including comments and selected audience activity. Shopee and Facebook support should be checked specifically for the comment workflow described on the product pages.
Availability depends on release, account conditions and platform connection. Ask about the events you need rather than assuming a generic platform-support label covers every interaction. Test with the actual account.
Product pins and replies require a complete connection
Where the integration supports product-pin signals, check product mapping and the connection between the character software and Router. Confirm the right item changes in the destination interface; a local status message alone is insufficient.
For replies, check text and speech separately where available. Hosted processing, Internet conditions and platform behavior can affect timing. Establish tolerances in rehearsal instead of promising instant replies in every environment.
Install the right set of tools
Get Router from the official GenAIDOL software page and check its current version information there. Depending on the route, the workflow can also require Model Live Local or Room Cloud access, a streaming tool and an audio connection.
A Router download does not imply bundled rights to every other product or unlimited language and speech usage. Confirm the active offer and costs for services you enable.
A first-run verification checklist
Confirm the platform and account, send a permitted test interaction, observe its arrival and inspect the final reply. If product pins are in scope, test a known item in the destination. Then test a disconnection and operator recovery.
