Compare where the character model runs

AIDOL Model Live Local runs character processing on your Windows machine or a machine you rent. AIDOL Room Cloud runs that processing on GenAIDOL infrastructure. This changes hardware responsibility and operating costs; it does not put the entire production workflow in the cloud.

For either route, confirm how the operator sends picture and audio to the streaming application and how audience events reach the AI workflow.

When Local deserves a closer look

The published Local starting requirement is Windows and an NVIDIA RTX GPU with at least 12 GB VRAM. Treat this as an initial compatibility check, not a guarantee for every scene, model and application combination. Review CPU, RAM, drivers and concurrent software load.

Local is worth evaluating when you want direct control of the processing machine and need product-media popups or changing character states described on the current Local feature page. Rehearse those exact functions before relying on them in a sales script.

When Cloud may fit better

Cloud is worth comparing when you do not want to maintain the GPU running the character model. You still need reliable connectivity and a suitable way to operate the stream. Check the whole production chain instead of assuming any phone or low-powered computer will be sufficient.

The current product comparison does not present dialogue-triggered product media popups and continuous character-state changes as equivalent Cloud features. Feature availability can change, so check the live comparison before buying.

Compare total operating cost

Separate software access, resource usage, language processing, speech generation and staffing. For Local, include hardware ownership or rental. For Cloud, check when room time starts and stops, including preparation before the public stream.

Compare both options using the same planned session length and response workload. A pilot provides a better estimate than a headline monthly price. Local and Cloud access are separate product entitlements; do not assume one purchase unlocks both.

A practical decision checklist

List must-have scene functions, available hardware, operator skills and intended platform. Ask support to validate your specific setup, including audio, event handling and recovery.

Choose Local for a tested on-machine workflow that matches your scene requirements. Choose Cloud when hosted model processing fits the production plan and usage budget. If neither setup has been tested with your account and content, run that test before committing to a long operating period.
